Honesdale High School to present Pippin
HONESDALE, PA The Honesdale High School Players will present the musical Pippin on Thursday through Saturday, April 26, 27 and 28 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, April 29 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Performances will be in the high school auditorium, 459 Terrace Street in Honesdale, PA.
The Tony-Award winning Pippin is the lively coming-of-age story of Charlemagnes oldest son. A surprise waits around every corner as Pippin wanders through the worlds of politics, love and war before finding his true calling. The show is replete with memorable songs including Magic to Do, Corner of the Sky and the audience sing-along No Time at All.
More than 45 students are involved in the cast, crew and pit orchestra. The title role of Pippin is played by Luke Martin. The role of Leading Player, made famous by Ben Vereen, is played by Kyle Segarra. The rest of the ensemble includes Jacqueline Rose, David Mazzenga, Courtney Sperger, Julie Romano, Isabel Braverman, Brianne Bidwell, Randy Troy, Tim Meyer, Christina Yanakis, David Galinski, Julie Martin, Amber Mohrmann, Amelia Hock and Max Roche.
