Chasing Daybreak to headline at Libertys TeamSkate concert
LIBERTY, NY Chasing Daybreak, one of the Hudson Valleys up-and-coming rock bands, will headline a benefit concert for Libertys TeamSkate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, in the gym of the Liberty Elementary School on North Main Street. The concert will also feature The Comeback Tour from Poughkeepsie and the Sullivan County band Sofmoure (formerly known as Disarray).
Chasing Daybreak has a long history with TeamSkate: they played in the first Battle of the Bands in 2005. Local audiences may also remember them from their 2006 appearance at Bethel Woods with Ashlee Simpson. The Comeback Tour, consisting of Kevin Kneifel, Nate Ciraulo, Paul Corey and Alan Birney, was formed in January 2005 and has quickly developed a fan base across Western New York and New England. Samples of their work and more are available at thecomebacktour.com.
The lineup will be completed by local band Sofmoure. Formerly known as Disarray, the band features front woman Taylor Jardine and her support team of Bobby Kopp, Reggie Ocasio, Ben Doland and Zach Cosentino. They will start the evening off with their alternative rock show: myspace.com/sofmoure.
