Dog show returns to SCCC

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — The Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club (HVGRC) will hold its annual agility trials and golden retriever specialty show at the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse on Friday, March 23 through Sunday, March 25.

Agility trials for all breeds will run for the first two days starting at 8:00 a.m. This is a competition that includes jumping, running through a tunnel and precision weaving through a series of poles. On Sunday, March 25, the 27th annual Golden Retriever Only Specialty Show will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The day is dedicated to golden retrievers and features obedience trials, sweepstakes and the parade of champions. The show is free and open to the public. The club requests that canine spectators stay at home.
