Farm bureau show calls for donations, vendors

HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne-Pike County Farm Bureau is planning its second annual tractor show for Sunday, April 29. All proceeds from the event will go to fund the bureau’s scholarship fund.

Donations for auction items are needed and are currently being accepted from area farmers and businesses. The donations of used items in good condition are encouraged, especially farm or country-living items. The donators will be mentioned during the auction. Call if you have larger items you need to have picked up.

Crafters and flea-market vendors can obtain spaces for $10. If the weather is favorable, they will be able to drive to their spots and park there. If it is raining, setup will be in a large agricultural pole building for more sheltered sales.

During the day, farm tractors will compete for prizes. Antique tractor plowing and Hit and Miss engines will be displayed. A skid-steer rodeo is being planned as well as a kiddie pedal pull.
