Literary Gazette seeks local books and reviewers

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Literary Gazette is an annual literary journal published by The River Reporter in Narrowsburg, NY.

This year, the Gazette is taking the form of a review of books. In this regard, we are looking for both books to review and reviewers. Books must have been published in the last year, or will be published in the next four months, and the author and/or subject matter must have some connection and/or relevance to the Upper Delaware River valley. This can include a wide region, from Albany to Scranton to the Hudson Valley. We are looking for all sorts of topics, including fiction, poetry, memoir and non-fiction prose.

The Gazette will be published in late June, and the deadline for writers is Friday, June 1. There is a small payment for accepted reviews.

If you are an author with a book you would like considered for review, or if you know of such a book, or if you are a writer who would like to write a review, please contact Literary Gazette editor Mary Greene at The River Reporter, PO Box 150, Narrowsburg, NY 12764, email marygreene@riverreporter.com or call 845/252-7414.
