Dancing at the museum

HURLEYVILLE, NY — Four ballroom dances will be held at the Sullivan County Museum during the coming winter months. They will take place on Sunday afternoons, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on January 14, February 11, March 11 and April 15. Admission costs $15 for couples, $8 for singles and $3 for students. Light refreshments will be served.

As in past years, a dance lesson will be offered by Norton and Agi Hyman, two well-known dance instructors in the area.

Dancing offers healthy exercise for people of all ages and provides an opportunity to make new friends. The music at the museum will feature standard ballroom dances such as the foxtrot, waltz, swing, cha-cha and rumba. Persons who enjoy being a spectator as well as those who enjoy dancing are welcome.
