Volunteers pack boxes for veterans

ELDRED, NY — Volunteers got together on Sunday, December 3 at The Eldred Preserve to pack boxes for troops serving overseas. The boxes were filled with items the troops would enjoy such as hot chocolate, oatmeal, cookies, hats and socks.

The box packing was spear headed by President & Co-Founder Dolores Delgado of the Sullivan County Armed Forces Support Group. Volunteers packed a total of 129 boxes. Donations of goods or money may be sent to Armed Forces Support Group, 310 Gabriel Road, Cochecton, NY 12726.
