O’Neill’s Cory Reed, this year’s Class B victory and Eldred’s Max Gunther whose stalwart effort brought him to the medical tent instead of a medal stand, lies the rich tapestry of stories that marked this year’s New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) championships held at Warwick High School on November 11.
