Have a close encounter with a bird of prey

BUSHKILL, PA — Bill Streeter, director of Delaware Valley Raptor Center, will bring five birds of prey—a hawk, a falcon, an eagle and two owls—to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14. Streeter’s free presentation will take place at the national park’s Bushkill Meeting Center on Route 209. The evening offers adults and children an opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation, predator-prey relationships, specific adaptations of raptors and wildlife issues today.
