Local artists’ summer landscapes to be featured at Chant gallery

LORDS VALLEY, PA — All summer long, as part of the “Come Paint with Me” program, local artists at all levels of expertise, from inexperienced amateur to accredited professional, have come together at locations around the Upper Delaware River Valley, to share their knowledge and to draw, paint and enjoy the hands-on experience of creating in the outdoors. This fall, their efforts have borne fruit in a group art show, “Painting the Landscape,” which will run through October 30 at Davis R. Chant Realtors Lords Valley, PA office, located on Route 739 just south of I-84 (exit 34). The gallery is open seven days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be a gala reception for the artists on Friday, October 6, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The show will include original artwork in many different mediums and styles. The “Come Paint with Me” program, begun nine years ago by artist Joan Polishook of Hemlock Farms, is free. The participants come from all over the tri-state area.
