Bronx Opera to perform at Frost Valley YMCA

CLARYVILLE, NY — The Bronx Opera will perform its annual fall concert at Frost Valley YMCA’s Forstmann Castle at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.

Bronx Opera was founded in 1967 by Michael Spierman, the company’s artistic director and principal conductor. It performs at Frost Valley several times each year. This concert will include songs from a variety of works.

The company’s productions are always sung in English with a full chorus and orchestra, featuring talented singers selected from an open competitive audition process. The organization’s modest ticket prices allow its high-quality professional productions to be accessible to all. Many performers who began their careers with Bronx Opera can now be heard in leading opera houses of the world, including the Metropolitan Opera and New York City Opera.

Tickets for the Frost Valley YMCA performance are $10 per person.
