Horse show comes to the fairgrounds

HONESDALE, PA — The seventh Annual Wayne County Benefit Horse Show will take place September 30 and October 1 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. All exhibitors are invited to compete in this open benefit. Saturday, September 30 is all-day Western including driving and gymkhana. Sunday, October 1 is all-day English; competition is expected to last into nightfall.

Traditional ribbons are awarded along with first-place as well as division championship prizes. There are 31 divisions, 17 stake classes and two trainer awards. Concessions, vendors and equine photography will also be available.

Admission to the fairgrounds and parking is free. Fairgoers are advised to bring their own seating. The show benefits the Wayne County 4-H clubs.
