Nancy Wells writes of her work Ascent of the Grandmothers, created for the Harmony Project exhibit, I designed this digital painting/poster out of respect for the historical wisdom of women... In Micmac-Algonquin Culture, the grandmothers are honored when praying in the West of the Medicine Wheel. You honor them when you pray by going inward into your self to awaken your wisdom. Women are especially important in partnership cultures. Balancing the feminine and the masculine energies is considered the wisest way to resolve issues.

| Linda Cobb of Fallsdale Studios and Amy Dunn of The Mountain Quiltworks say of their textile work, Those Little Scraps,This quilt was designed and created with scraps of fabric that might otherwise have been discarded. Since no self-respecting quilter ever contributes much to any landfill, the challenge to create and complete something original was met with great respect of the creative process.
