Partying down by the river

Fly-fishing demonstrations were part of the educational opportunities available at the Meadow Party, an annual event hosted by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy (DHC) in celebration of the organization’s land conservation efforts. Environmental organizations shared information throughout the day, poets and musicians filled the air with artful words and music, a food buffet showcased local delicacies, and raffles and auctions raised funds for the DHC’s work. The DHC has helped to protect more than 5,000 acres of land in Sullivan and Orange counties, NY, and Pike and Wayne counties, PA.
