‘Fire on the Mountain’ to help firefighters recoup flood losses

ROSCOE, NY — There will be a benefit for the fire departments of Roscoe-Rockland, Livingston Manor, Beaverkill Valley and Cooks Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 in the auditorium of Roscoe Central School.

In the wake of recent flood devastation, many local fire departments need to replace equipment or purchase new equipment to prepare them for future disasters. The Roscoe Community Theatre Group, Creative Expressions Dance Studio and Mystic Entertainment have arranged the benefit, “Fire on the Mountain,” to help them meet these needs. A free-will donation is requested for admission, a 50/50 drawing will be held, baskets will be raffled off and the Ladies Auxillary will sell refreshments during intermission.

All profits will be divided equally by the four fire departments.
