Poul Jorgensen calendar to benefit fly fishing center

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The first Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM) “It’s all about fly fishing” calendar, a 2007 calendar featuring images from the photographic collection of Poul Jorgensen, has been printed and is now available for purchase.

Jorgensen is reputed to have been the greatest fly tyer in the world. In addition to his mastery at the vise, Poul is recognized as a prolific author, photographer, artist and pioneer in fly-tying video production.

This calendar is the first in an annual series featuring unique and outstanding angling images from the personal collections of some of the greatest legends in fly fishing. Already in pre-publishing production are the Lee Wulff Images Calendar for 2008 and the 2009 calendar featuring original artwork by Ernest Schweibert.

The suggested retail price is $9.95. Proceeds will benefit the CFFCM and the building fund for the planned World Fly Fishing Community Center. Calendars are available at your favorite fly shop or directly from the CFFCM.
