Goo Goo Dolls deliver energetic performance

BETHEL, NY — The Goo Goo Dolls played to an enthusiastic crowd of about 8,500 people at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on August 9. The concert was part of the band’s promotional tour for their recently released album, “Let Love In.”

Counting Crows, also slated to perform that evening, did not attend due to a family illness. In the absence of their co-headliner, the Goo Goo Dolls played an extended set that included material from the new album and hit singles such as “Iris” and “Name.”
