Anglers rejoice: ‘Summerfest’ is coming

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM) offers an end-of-summer celebration aimed especially at anglers and their families. The gates for the Summerfest and Anglers Market open at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26 and activities continue through the day. The market, open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., features fly fishing vendors from throughout the Northeast region, vintage and new fishing tackle, collectible books, rustic decorative items and more. The market is followed by a live auction beginning at 3:30 p.m.

A variety of activities are offered throughout the day, including fly tying demonstrations in the museum, the Great Catskill Fish Race on Willowemoc Creek and antique tackle appraisals.

Admission costs $2/car with all proceeds going to support CFFCM and its many programs.

CFFCM is located on Old Route 17, off Route 17 between Livingston Manor and Roscoe.
