Gardening workshop

BLOOMING GROVE, PA — Penn State Cooperative Extension will hold a gardening workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on August 12 at the Pike County Conservation District Education Building, Route 402 in Blooming Grove, PA.

Gardening sessions include lectures by Ellen Zachos, a New York Botanical Gardens educator and author, on perennials, Joel Flagler, the Rutgers Master Gardener Coordinator on horticulture therapy, and Jack Haley, a former Cornell MG and Associate Degree in Horticulture on weed identification.

The cost is $5.
