Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” comes to Cinema 6

HONESDALE, PA — There will be a special showing of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” on Friday, August 18 at 11:30 p.m. at Cinema 6 Movie Theater, Route 6 Plaza (Honesdale). There will be discussion following the event, which is sponsored by the Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA). The event is slated to end by 2:00 a.m.

“The Wall,” an animated musical drama, revolves around fictional rock singer, Pink, who is suffering from music business burnout and only able to perform while under the influence of drugs. Locking himself into hotel room, Pink slowly goes mad, building a “wall” as an effort of protection from the outside world. The film’s massive and epic drama is depicted through pictures until the ending where Pink demolishes the wall to break free. If you have never seen “The Wall,” it is a must see; if you have seen it, you’ll be sure to pick up on something you never noticed before.
