Open house at Civil War era sawmill LOOKOUT, PA — There will be an open house for the Joel Hill Sawmill, a water-powered sawmill constructed circa 1860, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12. The open house will include tours and sawing demonstrations at the sawmill, located on Duck Harbor Road off Route 191, which is the only water-powered sawmill still operating in Northeastern PA.
