Antique appraisal at Equinunk

EQUINUNK, PA — The Equinunk Historical Society will present “Grandma’s Attic,” an antique appraisal program with Richard “Smitty” Axtell, at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13 at the Calder House Museum. Axtell, who operates Axtell Antiques in Deposit, NY, has been in the business for nearly 40 years, and has appraised items for many museums, including Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI, the Frances Tavern and Abigail Smith Museums in New York City and Colonial Williamsburg, VA.

For a fee of $5 for two items (maximum of six items), Axtell will appraise your piece, and probably have an amusing or amazing story to impart as well.

The museum opens at 12:00 noon, and refreshments will be served after the program.
