Birds of prey at Lacawac

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, PA — Lacawac Sanctuary will host “Birds of Prey” at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2.

A majestic golden eagle, hawks, owls and a falcon from the Delaware Valley Raptor Center will be on hand to help Bill Streeter, raptor rehabilitator, present a close-up look at these fascinating birds. He will explain the life histories and special adaptations unique to each species, as well as the problems they face in our rapidly expanding world.
