Zuppa Circus Theatre at NACL

HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — The North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL) welcomes Zuppa Circus Theatre of Halifax, Canada for a production, “Open Theatre Kitchen,” at 8:00 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, July 28 and 29.

The show is a wacky and absurd black comedy from Halifax. A chef couple living in a far-off desert wants a child so badly they imagine one into existence. As the story unfolds, they prepare a hearty vegetable soup live on stage. Equal parts human and onion, mischief and mythology, the show is a wild theatrical feast that celebrates an appetite for the world.

Zuppa Circus is a Halifax treasure, well known for their intelligent comedic and physical outdoor theatre on the Halifax waterfront.
