‘The Snow Walker’ at SCCC

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — “The Snow Walker” will be shown as part of the Sullivan County Community College (SCCC) Multi-Media Tuesdays series this summer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1 at the Seelig Theatre.

“The Snow Walker” is a Canadian film based on a novel by Farley Mowat. Released in 2003, this movie tells the story of a bush pilot who is persuaded to transport a sick young Inuit woman to a hospital in Yellowknife. The plane crashes, and the two must make their way to safety through a desolate wilderness, learning from each other how to survive.

Jack Hirschfeld will facilitate discussions following the showing.
