Images of a vanishing culture

LIBERTY, NY — The Liberty Museum & Arts Center on 46 South Main Street will hold an exhibit of photographs by Linda Berkowicz, “Journey in Peru,” from July 22 to August 19. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, July 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibit displays large color photographs documenting the artist’s journey in Peru, visiting the river people of the Peruvian Amazon and their life along the river. This exhibit also explores the sacred sites of Machu Pichcu.

Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
