Bethel Woods has arranged for a whole weekend of jazz, starting at 12:00 noon this Saturday. In addition to the main stage events at 2:00 p.m. on each day, there will be musicians performing throughout the grounds and activities for kids through 6:00 p.m.

Featured performers on day one are eight-time Grammy winner George Benson, the Dave Douglas Quintet, the Jimmy Heath Quartet, John Pizzarelli and Big Band, Nellie McKay, Paquito D’rivera Quintet and James Emery.

The biggest name, however, Wynton Marsalis, has been saved for Sunday. He will perform along with pre-eminent jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves, trumpeter and composer Chris Botti, the New Orleans jazz of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, percussionist Thurman Barker, and Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista & Beat The Donkey, bringing in an international flair.
