Benefit golf tournament tees off at Villa Roma

COCHECTON, NY — The 11th Annual Catskill Cup, a golf tournament to benefit SullivanArc, will be held at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center on Sunday, July 16.

Registration starts at 11:00 a.m., with a barbeque lunch and a putting contest at 11:30 a.m. The tournament is four-ball scramble format and begins with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. There will be a buffet dinner after the tournament at the clubhouse. Prizes include a 2006 Ford Explorer four-door for a hole-in-one, sponsored by M&M Automotive Center, putting-contest prizes, raffles, on-course challenges and refreshments, and first- and second-flight prizes. Massage therapist and SullivanArc staff member Helene VonRosenstiel will be on hand to give free Seimei pain-relieving massages to all golfers. On-course refreshments will also be available.

The Catskill Cup is one of SullivanArc’s major fundraisers, with all proceeds benefiting over 800 mentally retarded and developmentally disabled individuals the agency serves.
