Farmers Market opening in Kauneonga Lake
KAUNEONGA LAKE - There is a new Farmers Market opening that will showcase local vegetables and fruit, organic produce, dairy products, baked goods, kosher poultry, BBQ chicken, prepared foods and cooking demonstrations by Chef Andy Yeomans from The Fat Lady Café.
Bethel First is kicking off the new market with a ribbon cutting on Friday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. The market will be open every Friday in July and August from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. There will be door prizes and live music weekly.
This promises to be an exciting event in the Bethel/Kauneonga Lake community, said Susan Runnells, the Bethel First president. Providing a local place to shop will offer a valuable service to our residents and visitors.
The market is one of several projects being undertaken by Bethel First as part of their Sullivan Renaissance to revitalize downtown Kauneonga Lake.
The Kauneonga Lake Farmers Market will be held at the Kauneonga Lake Firemens Pavilion and will provide cover for the vendors and customers. The market is located on Route 55 East, just one mile off Route 17B, behind the Kauneonga Lake Fire Department.
New vendors are welcome.
