River Road Fair better than ever!
BARRYVILLE, NY - River Road is a joy to stroll down. Its even more exciting when its lined with vendors selling crafts, jewelry and art. Add to that crocheted items, collectibles and antiques, oriental rugs, vintage furniture, primitives, pottery and every kind of household items you can name, and the half-mile road along the Upper Delaware River becomes a slice of heaven.
And thats what youve got during the 13th annual River Road Fair, held this year on July 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Therell be strawberry shortcake, lunch and a bake sale at the Barryville Methodist Church and an outdoor art show at Burrell River Road Gallery and Studio. Sabrina Artel and her 1965 Bee Line Trailer will be parked along the way, and vendors and visitors will have the opportunity to share their thoughts about the day for Making Waves, a national public radio program aired on Monday nights at 8:30 p.m. on WJFF, 90.5 FM.
As an additional bonus, the NACL stilkwalkers will perform at noon and the Barryville Farmers Market will be in full swing from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Rounding out the day will be a book sale at the Information Booth next to McKean Realty on Route 97, which will benefit the Barryville Renaissance History Walk.
