‘Chalk It Up!’ returns to Tusten library

NARROWSBURG, NY — Last year’s “Chalk It Up!” event will return to the Tusten-Cochecton branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library all day on June 28, with judging and refreshments at 7:00 p.m.

Kids get a bucket of colored chalk and a parking spot within which to draw a scene from their favorite books. Prizes are given to all participants, with a grand prize of tickets to one of the Young Audience Festival shows this summer at the Forestburgh Playhouse, donated by Norman Duttweiler. The contest will be judged by local artists.

The rain date is Monday, July 3.
