Bethel park hosts inaugural concert

Despite unseasonably chilly weather, the Monticello High School Chamber Concert drew over 50 people to the Kauneonga Lake Community Park on Route 55 East this past Sunday. Matthew Rodriguez and Chris Giunta were accompanied by music teacher Linda Van Norman, and Rodriguez and Giunta broke out into a jazz duo for an added treat.

This was the first of four music events planned this summer at the park, a creation of Bethel First’s Sullivan Renaissance project. The next will be a performance of folk/country music by Janet Burgan playing July 9.
