LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The sky was overcast with the promise of rain in the air when Livingston Manor trout enthusiasts washed onto Main Street to raise money for their school’s music and art programs.

The third annual Trout Parade began at 1:00 p.m. and featured live music, sea-creatures of all colors and sizes, extravagant floats, dancers and stilt walkers.

The feature performance was the actual wedding of Eric Hirsch and Jenny Lytton, “sole-mates” who were joined in “Holy Mackerlmony.” The service was complete with mermaids of honor and best manatees.

The celebration continued with live music performances at the Great Trout Stage.
