Sojourn on the river

MINISINK FORD, NY — Registrations are still being accepted for the 2006 Delaware River Sojourn, an eight-day paddling excursion through three states that begins on June 18. Sojourners are welcome to join the event for one day or multiple days. Late fees have been waived for those who sign up by June 16.

The daily fee of $65 for adults ($45 for children age 12 and under) covers a guided river trip, canoe or kayak rental if needed, shuttle transportations, educational programs, a souvenir water bottle, certain meals and optional overnight camping. A one-time, $8 fee per person for insurance applies to non-members of the American Canoe Association.
