Cultural events come to Bethels new park
KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY As part of Bethel Firsts Sullivan Renaissance project, a series of four summer cultural events will be presented at the Kauneonga Lake Community Park. The Monticello High School Chamber Music Concert will kick off the series at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11. The concert is free and will feature a guitar trio, brass trio and a string quartet directed by Dr. Kevin Dirth, Monticello High School Director of Music Education. Students performing will be Marissa Smithem, Christina Makram, Caitlin VanKeuren, Ashley Castro, Christian Giunta, Jeff Gould, Matthew Rodriguez, Dan Carroll, Chris Demundo and James Quick.
Audience members are invited to bring a chair and a picnic while enjoying the view of the lake. There is no rain date.
The community park is located at the intersection of Lake Street and Route 55 East off Route 17B.
