Wayne-Pike farm bureau to hold first tractor show

HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne-Pike County Farm Bureau will hold its first tractor show from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30 at the LaTourette Farm next to the Torrey Grange Hall, seven miles north of Honesdale. Local farm tractors will compete for prizes, there will be antique tractor plowing and Hit and Miss engines will be displayed. A skid-steer rodeo is being planned as well as a kiddie pedal pull. All proceeds from the event will go to the agricultural scholarship program.

The event will also feature an auction led by auctioneer John Wetmore. Wayne/Pike farm bureau is currently accepting donations from area farmers and businesses for auction items. The donation of used items in good condition is encouraged, especially of farm or country-living items. The donors will be mentioned during the auction. Call if you have larger items you need to have picked up.

Spaces are available to crafters and flea market vendors for $10.
