Liberty parks to benefit from poker walk

LIBERTY, NY — Liberty will hold its fifth annual poker walk from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. Proceeds will benefit the Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Department. Restaurants on the route are Cobblers, McCabes, The Pub, Seanachies and the North End. Participants collect a card at each restaurant and meet at McCabes at 4:00 p.m., where the possessor of the winning hand will be awarded $200. Tickets are now available for a donation of $15 and may be picked up at participating businesses or the parks and recreation department. Buyers of the first 150 tickets will receive a complimentary t-shirt the day of the event.
