Iraq War commemoration

HONESDALE, PA — Marking the third anniversary of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, a handful of people gathered in Honesdale’s Central Park on Sunday, March 19 for the reading of the names of 2,500 American military and civilian casualties claimed by the conflict. Waynepeace sponsored the event, which coincided with protests in dozens of cities in North America, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
