Trip to Corning

HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) will sponsor a one-day bus trip to the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York on Saturday, May 13. Registration deadline is April 1.

One of the premier glass exhibits of the world, the museum offers a visual panorama of artistic glassworks, as well as glass treasures made by internationally renowned artists and others made at Corning Glass. The day’s activities will also include a visit to the Rockwell Museum, holding several pieces by famed western artist Frederic Remington.

The bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Fourth and Main Street, and will return on the same day in the early evening. The fee for WCAA members is $39, for non-members, $49, which includes bus fare, entry to the Corning Museum of Glass with a guided tour, and the Rockwell Museum.
