St. Patty’s Day dance to raise funds for TeamSkate

Members of TeamSkate will hold a dance from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday, March 17, in the gym of the Liberty Elementary School on North Main Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $6 at the door. Music will be provided by Party Master Productions, and participants can sign up for a freestyle M.C. competition at the door. All proceeds will go toward the skate park planned in Liberty. TeamSkate has already secured more than $60,000 in grants and donations. The first phase of construction for the skate park is planned to begin later in 2006.
