Unique theatrical event at NACL

HIGHLAND LAKE, NY—NACL will stage a unique theatrical event, “The Passion According to G.H.,” at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 in its newly renovated theatre at 110 Highland Lake Road.

Sundays at Big Twig kick off 2006 season

ROSCOE, NY—The first of this year’s Sundays at Big Twig concerts will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26. Flutist and founder Judith Pearce and her colleagues, violinist Sunghae Anna Lim, cellist Alberto Parrini and pianist Marija Stroke will perform Haydn, Carter, Beethoven and Ravel. The venue for the concerts is a scenic hilltop near Tennanah Lake in Roscoe, overlooking the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware River Valley.

Poet and boat-builder next in Irish culture series

March 12 event cancelled

NARROWSBURG, NY—The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s “Everlasting Voices” series will continue at 7:00 p.m. on March 15 with a talk titled “The Irish Language & Culture of the Southwest Peninsula,” by poet, historian and boat builder Danny Sheehy, at the Gloria Krause Recital Hall at the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main Street. The March 12 literary presentation by Michael Coffey has been cancelled due to a Coffey family emergency.
