Music, art, wine and food at The Columns

MILFORD, PA — On Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m., The Columns will host a blues benefit concert, followed by an art auction. The event is to help raise the funds for the much-needed replacement of the historic building’s roof.

Milford’s own legendary blues man, Bobby Kyle, will be featured at the concert. Blues Revue Magazine writes: “Bobby Kyle may be one of the best… blues singers in the business. Yes, he really is that good and proves it time and again.” Kyle will not only be serenading the listeners with blues, but reminiscing of his childhood in Milford.

Following the performance of Bobby Kyle will be the art auction, featuring works of local artists, including historical prints of local attractions by Bruce Frank, “satirical portraits of societal life” by the creator of the Gibson Girl, Charles Dana Gibson, and many other miscellaneous works of art donated by local artists.

There will also be a wine and cheese reception.

Tickets are $20 each, and all proceeds will go toward replacing the dilapidated roof of the Columns.
