The joy of ice skating

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Morgan Outdoors will host “Let’s Skate!,”a program about the joy of ice skating and how to enjoy it in comfort, from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, February 25. The program will be led by Chris Bartlett, owner of Skaters Landing in North Haven, CT. Bartlett, a former competitive skater, is now a figure skating coach and nationally renowned skating equipment technician. Whether you’re a casual skater, pond skater, or just have Olympic fever, Bartlett will discuss how to get skates that fit properly to take care of your feet and help you skate better. Chris will also demonstrate techniques for maintaining skates so they last a long time, and will share some of his skating experiences in the competitive figure skating world.

The program is free and open to the public. Advance registration is advised.
