Shake off the winter blues at PEEC

DINGMAN’S FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will hold a series of events in February for those who enjoy outdoors activities in all seasons.

The series includes “Eagle Treks” around sites in the Upper Delaware Region looking for wintering bald eagles on February 1 and 11; a field trip to Barnegat Bay, NJ, for winter waterfowl birding on February 8; a buffet dinner accompanied by a slide show on wintering birds on February 10; a “Where Eagles Soar” weekend on February 10 through 12; and a winter tracking workshop on February 12. Prices for the events range from $15 to $18 for the slideshow to between $165 and $180 for the weekend.
