Reorganizing in Cochecton

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — The Cochecton Town Board held its annual re-organizational meeting on January 3. The board adopted minor changes in the procurement policy, including raising the supervisor’s procurement spending from $100 to $250 to be in line with other positions; dropping a financial institution not utilized but listed in the past; and changing the name from Fleet Bank to Bank of America. The board also discussed its desire to have junk cars and trailer ordinances enforced and agreed to send a memo to the code enforcement officer.

Regular board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the town hall in Lake Huntington, with work sessions beginning at 7:00 p.m. and official business commencing at 7:30 p.m.
