Community chorus to start rehearsals

MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan County Community Chorus will begin chorus rehearsals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1 at the Monticello Presbyterian Church. The chorus will prepare for its annual spring concert on Sunday, May 7 under the direction of conductor David Trombley and chorus accompanist Lucille Horton, and will rehearse every Wednesday.

Trombley, who has performed throughout the United States in opera and in concert, has chosen selections of the works of Mozart, Frostiana by Randall Thompson (text by Robert Frost) and various spirituals for the concert. Semester dues are $20 and there is a $10 deposit for music.
