‘Proof” performed in East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — “Proof,” a four-character study of the interplay between mathematics, genius, madness and family relationships, will be performed from December 1 through 4 at the Smith-McFarland Theatre of East Stroudsburg University’s Fine and Performing Arts Center on Normal and Marguerite streets.

The play, by David Auburn, which earned the both the 2001 Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award, will be performed at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, December 1 through 3; and at 2:00 p.m. on December 4. Because of sophisticated content and adult language, this play is recommended for older high school students and adults.
