Liberty Museum honors outgoing president

LIBERTY, NY — The Liberty Museum & Arts Center is featuring a month-long exhibit of the paintings of Liberty artist Lee Parks entitled “Retrospective.” Parks was a former teacher at Liberty High School and is outgoing president of the museum. His work has been exhibited throughout the area and is in private collections here and abroad. Parks will move to North Carolina later this year, so this may be the last opportunity to view his work in this area.

Parks’ hard work as president will be honored from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19 at the museum’s Annual Members Party/8th Birthday Party. Pianist John Simon will provide musical entertainment.

Admission is free. The museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. For more information call 845/292-2394 or visit libertymuseum.com.
