Bears impress at Disney Classic

ORLANDO, FLORIDA — The Tri-Valley girls’ cross-country team took sixth place out of 26 teams and the boys placed fourth in the 1A race at the 2005 Disney Cross-Country Classic.

Courtney Roosa (20:55.62) finished seventh among 490 runners. Erin Beach (22:15.14) took 21st place and Rachel Sanborn (22:32.76) finished 27th.

In the boys’ race Derek Smith (17:35.96) finished 12th and Michael Kaplan (18:52.53) finished in 38th place among 182 runners.
