Autumn comes to Lacawac

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, PA — Lacawac Sanctuary is planning a couple of events especially for autumn. On Wednesday, October 12, at 5:30 p.m., a free sunset walk to enjoy the fall colors is scheduled. It will begin at the Visitor Center and go along the old logging trails. On Monday, October 17 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a Harvest Moon Howl, with a bonfire, roasting hotdogs, campfire stories, a stroll through the woods and maybe even a howl at the moon. There is a requested donation of $3 for members and $5 for non-members, with 12 and under free.
